A Comprehensive Review of New Attachment Therapy.

Abstract

Dental surgical procedures have developed over the years based on strong clinical impression and empirical practices. Important advances have been made in the field of clinical trials both in measurement of conditions and in analysis of clinical data. Many articles in the past have dwelled upon methods of handling soft tissues and bony defects, while recently there has been interest in the treatment of the diseased root surface. This report is a review of the literature in 1980, and highlights the biological nature of the healing dentogingival junction. (Author)
