Exothermic IR Source Materials. Lithium-Boron Alloy Materials.

Abstract

The preparation of a lithium-boron compound alloy is discussed. Its reactivity with an ambient atmosphere, and with dry and humid atmospheres of air, oxygen, and nitrogen is presented and compared to the reactivity of lithium metal under similar conditions. (Author)
