Laser Quality Single Crystal Specimens.

Abstract

Research and development on the crystalline laser host, YLF (LiYF4), was completed during this program. The study involved crystal growth and sample fabrication of rare earth doped YLF. These materials were then evaluated at NRL. A total of 16 laser samples, eight different compositions, were processed during this contract period. (Author)
