A Procedure for Obtaining Velocity Vector from Two High Response Impact Pressure Probes.

Abstract

A method for experimentally determining the velocity vector for a point in a fluid, downstream of a rotating turboimpeller, is presented. The technique requires four pressure readings from two semiconductor pressure probes and a synchronization system to collect the data. Reduction of the data to the velocity and direction of the fluid particle is performed by the computer program at the end of this report. (Author)
