H7220 - Scour Hole Design and Preventative Riprap Protection for Culverts, Program Number 722-F3-2R2-7El,

Abstract

The purpose of the program is to compute the expected width, depth, length, and volume of the scour hole to be expected in a cohesionless material for a given flow condition and three D50 stone sizes and blankets geometries for scour prevention. The program is written in G635 time-share series, FORTRAN IV, and is part of a Conversationally Oriented Real-Time Program-Generating System (CORPS). The program consists of a main program and one subroutine. All input is entered in the main program with the subroutine handling all output and computational requirements.
