Evaluation of ADINA. Part I. Theory and Programing Descriptions.

Abstract

An evaluation of 1977 ADINA, a general purpose nonlinear finite element Program, was conducted. The evaluation work consists of the review of its theoretical basis, nonlinear static and dynamic solution algorithms, and program architecture. A discussion of the program is also made with respect to its nonlinear analysis capability and limitations. (Author)
