15 GHz Microstrip Array Development.

Abstract

An investigation of the feasibility of electronically scannable microstrip phased array antennas operating in the 15 GHz region was accomplished. Monolithic, multi-layer and modular approaches were analyzed and their expected performance capabilities, cost, weight, and other factors were compared. In addition, a prototype model of a preferred array design was fabricated and tested. (Author)
