Abstract

This study was undertaken at the request of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (Logistics) to compare the cost analyses in the CIVMAN study (Investigation of the Potential for Increased Use of Civilian Manning on Fleet Support Ships) and the March 1980 draft JMC Study (Civilianization of Navy Fleet Support Ships).
