Francis E. Walter Dam and Reservoir Project, Water Quality Data Report (RCS-DAEN-CWE-15).

Abstract

The Francis E. Walter Dam and Reservoir is located at the convergence of Bear Creek and Lehigh River in Luzerne, Carbon and Monroe Counties in Northeast Pennsylvania. The purpose of this report is to present and briefly interpret the water quality collected to date in relation to the operation and control of Francis E. Walter Dam and Reservoir. Included in the report are the general characteristics of the area influenced by the dam, the project and the basin area draining into the lake. Information is given to show relationships between water quality problems and effects of the lake on the water quality in the area. (Author)
