Composite Materials for Structural Design.

Abstract

Summarized are research activities related to polymer-matrix composite materials in the areas of processing and dynamic mechanical testing, physical aging, delamination fracture characterization, temperature and moisture effects, finite element modelling, and fracture and damage analysis of nonlinear visco-elastic materials. Also included are Abstracts of seven M.S. theses and six papers describing several recently completed experimental and analytical research investigations of factors which pertain to processing, testing, and analysis of composite structures.
