Abstract

This report provides an evaluation of the different design techniques for Wavelength Division Multiplexing. Heavy emphasis is placed upon the physical techniques for performing optical demultiplexing. The report includes illustrations and data on different design components along with the pros and cons of each. Also included are future considerations for the design and implementation of Wavelength Division Multiplexing techniques in the fiber optic industry. (Author)
