Evaluation of an Upstream-Induced Ground Motion Waveform Prediction Procedure.

Abstract

The single burst ground roll environment is important to the prediction of the multiple burst environment for MX. Recent studies carried out under the planning and review of the DNA-sponsored Data Analysis Working Group (DAWG) have led to an improved understanding of the phenomenology of the upstream-induced environment component for both the outrunning and superseismic regions. While the process of developing prediction techniques is still evolving, the purpose of this study is to perform an evaluation of the current methodology. This report summarizes preliminary results of this evaluation. (Author)
