Fast Ion Stopping Power in Dense, Ionized Plasmas.

A model is presented for calculating stopping cross sections for ions in ionized plasma targets. This approach utilizes a local oscillator model to calculate stopping power by bound electrons. Results obtained from this formulation are presented and compared with other calculations. (Author)
