User's Manual For the Plume Signature Code EAPROF.

Abstract

A description and instructions for use of the plume signature code EAPROF are given. The code computes the transverse profiles of infrared emission and extinction within a fixed bandpass for an axisymmetric, axially uniform, cylindrical two-phase plume. The principal inputs are the radial distributions of gas temperature, pressure, and concentration and particle temperature and number density. An example application is made for a plume containing H2O as the gas species and Al2O3 as the particle species.
