Stability Information for the Master

Abstract

This paper explores the current and optimum content and format of ships' trim and stability booklets, using naturalistic observation and documentary analysis. An optimum Trim and Stability booklet is proposed, together with graphic standards and guidelines for maximum comprehensibility.
