Simplified Analysis of Complex Conductivity Data.

Abstract

A simplified method is presented for the analysis of conductivity data for complex situations which involve ion pairing. The method was tested by comparing results with more elaborate analyses using published data for a number of salts in various solvents. The method is then used to analyze the conductivity data for several salts in thionyl chloride. These latter analyses are important for selecting electrolytes for lithium primary batteries. (Author)
