Surface Pressure Measurements on a Projectile Shape at Mach 0.908.

Abstract

Measurements of wall static pressures on a model shape with and without a boattail are reported. The model shape is similar to the M549 external geometry. Data were obtained at M = 0.908 at 10 longitudinal positions along the model. Measurements were made at 0, 1, 2.5, and 5.0 degrees angle of attack and at circumferential positions around the model in 10 degree increments.
