Groundwater Assessment Study for 50 Communities in Southeastern New Hampshire. Appendixes

Abstract

This Survey was undertaken at the request of the Department of the Army, New England Division Corps of Engineers, as a part of an integrated study of the water resources of the seacoast region of New Hampshire. The purpose of this survey was to field verify, evaluate current land use impacts, and to delineate the size and location of previously determined potential groundwater aquifers throughout Southeastern New Hampshire. The study area consisted of 47 communities within Rockingham County, Strafford County, and a portion of Carroll County. These communities are shown on the accompanying Study Area map. A brief description of the methodologies used in this survey is contained in the following paragraphs. The results of these field investigations are presented in the Appendices.
