Optical Computations for Image Bandwidth Compression.

Abstract

This report summarizes current research in the investigation of optical computations for image bandwidth compression. The following topics are discussed: a new adaptive image data compression scheme; simulations of an interframe adaptive image data compression scheme; and simulations of an incoherent optical/video feedback processor.
