Problem Definition Study on TAX (1-acetylhexahydro-3,5-dinitro-1,3,5- triazine), SEX (1-acetyloctahydro-3,5,7-trinitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine), Lead Salicylate and Lead Beta-Resorcylate 2-Nitrodiphenylamine and Ethyl Centralite

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the available information on the toxicological and environmental hazards associated with Army munitions production. The chemicals included in this study were TAX, SEX, lead salicylate, lead B-resorcylate, 2-nitrodiphenylamine, ethyl centralite. Recommendations for further studies to elucidate the environmental fate and toxicological properties of these compounds are made to fill the information gaps identified in the literature review.
