Decoy and Deception Techniques

Abstract

This report is a compilation of the various decoy designs and deception techniques developed and/or evaluated by the US Army Mobility Research and Development Command during 1970-79 and is intended as a demonstration-type handbook to be used as a means of educating the Department of Defense users (e. g., the Army's Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in the technological state-of-the-art in deception. By use of decoys and deception techniques, the user can deceive the enemy's most advanced sophisticated surveillance equipment and techniques.
