Miami International Airport Technical Plan. Airport Improvement Task Force Delay Studies. Volume II.

Abstract

This report contains supporting documentation for the detailed analysis of the Miami International Airport. The analysis was conducted by the Airport Improvement Working Group which has representatives from the airport sponsor, the Air Transport Association, the airlines serving Miami, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Technical support was provided by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co., and the FAA Technical Center. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the causes of delay and the potential delay reduction benefits of recommended improvements. The effort was part of the Airport Improvement Program.
