A Complementarity Algorithm for Optimal Stationary Programs in Growth Models with Quadratic Utility.

Abstract

It is shown that under natural economic assumptions the complementary pivot algorithm will find an optimal steady state for a von Neumann growth model with a quadratic utility function. This generalizes the result of Dantzig and Mann for the case of linear utility. (Author)
