Electromagnetism in Interaction with Deformable Solids.

Abstract

This is the final report on research begun. The research effort encompasses three subject areas consisting of the following: (1) Electromagnetism in interaction with conducting and nonconducting polarizable and magnetizable deformable solid continua; (2) The vibrations of piezoelectric plates and rods; and (3) Elastic surface waves guided by thin films.
