Research on the Evaluation of Computer System Architectures.
Abstract
This interim scientific report presents a synopsis of on-going research sponsored by the AFOSR in the field of the evaluation of computer system architectures. There are many aspects of the problem of the evaluation of computer system architectures. As new technology evolves in hardware and software more complex systems are designed, implemented and used. Such changes in the architecture of computer systems require new evaluation techniques and methodologies. Our research efforts are aimed in this direction. In this report we present a brief discussion of the studies we have undertaken several aspects of this problem. (Author)
