Biofouling Studies in the Baltic Approaches.

Abstract

During 1975-1977, biofouling organisms were collected at 21 sampling stations located in a variety of depths and environments in the Danish Sounds. The collected data show that from an engineering point of view, marine fouling organisms will be a problem throughout the operation area, and at all depths. Marine borers, however, will be encountered only in the northern portion of the survey area.
