Body Temperature and Energy Metabolism of Brown Lemming in Relation to Running Speed,

Abstract

The present study reports the relation of energy metabolism during locomotion in the brown lemming, Lemmus trimucronatus, as a function of speed, and assesses the importance of heat storage and heat dissipation of lemmings during locomotion.
