Signal Processing Theory of Bragg Cells.

Abstract

The theory of the acousto-optical interaction has been investigated in many papers. In this paper, the fundamental theory is used to develop a basic theory that explains the signal processing capabilities of Bragg cell devices. Examples of devices for frequency estimation, correlation, and Fourier transformation are presented. (Author)
