Life Cycle Navy Officer Billet Costs--FY 81

Abstract

The Officer Billet Cost Model has been developed to compute the cost of manning Navy billets with officers having requisite designators and grades, in terms of investment and operating cost to the U.S. government, for each year in the life cycle of a given billet. The resulting cost data are displayed in 22 designator groups by pay grade (Ensign, 0-1, to Captain, 0-6) and reflect the total cost of manning an established or proposed billet.
