Flood Plain Information, Ley Creek, Salina and Dewitt Townships, Onondaga County, New York.

Abstract

This flood plain information study covers an area along Ley Creek from the New York State Thruway to Onondaga Lake. Within the study area, Ley Creek flows a distance of 4.4 miles. The purpose of this report is to aid in the understanding of local Flood problems and to provide guidance in selecting the best uses for land, subject to overflow. This report is based on hydrological facts, historical and recent flood heights, and technical data having a bearing on the occurrence and magnitude of floods within the study area. (Author)
