A Generalized Computer Simulation Language for Naval Systems Modeling.

Abstract

This report describes NAVMAP, a generalized computer simulation language for naval systems modeling. NAVMAP is designed to be highly flexible, compact and portable. It is a FORTRAN-based language for discrete-event, continuous and state-event modeling. It is designed to easily interface with FORTRAN-based software for statistical methodology and optimization. NAVMAP (Naval Modeling and Analysis Program) is intended to serve as the basis for a consistent simulation modeling approach among naval research laboratories. (Author)
