An integrated Approach to Signal and Image Processing for Ocean Acoustics.

Abstract

An integrated systems approach is presented that includes both signal and image processing capability, and the use of command processor to coordinate the operation of all processors, and to make intelligent interpretation of real environment and to extract desired information from noisy background. Both statistical image segmentation and time-delay estimation are examined in this context. (Author)
