Aircraft Brake Systems Testing Handbook.

Abstract

This handbook was written to provide AFFTC engineers with guidelines for the testing of aircraft brake systems. Future technological advances, characteristics of individual test programs, and cost constraints may necessitate other methods being used in some cases. A background on brake systems, test conduct, and documentation of computer software for calculation of brake energies is presented. (Author)
