Asymptotic (beta) sub d Joint Normality of Sample Quantiles.

Abstract

Notions of asymptotic equivalence of probability distributions and some of their properties are briefly presented. By applying the results on type (beta)(d) asymptotic equivalence, asymptotic (beta)(d) joint normality of a set of increasing number of sample quantiles are discussed, which improves and refines the previous work by Ikeda and Matsunawa (1972).
