Principles of Urethane Foam Roof Application,

Abstract

Although sprayed polyurethane foam (PUF) roofing systems have been used successfully for about 15 years, they are considered by many to be new. Problems which have arisen with these roofing systems have resulted from either use of improper materials, inadequate specifications, or poor application. The Civil Engineering Laboratory has prepared this report to assist those responsible for preparation of specifications, including materials, application, and quality control. It is also intended as instructional material for inspectors. (Author)
