An Interactive Military Planning Game for the Naval Postgraduate School Command, Control, and Communications Laboratory.

Abstract

This thesis implements an adaptation of the TEMPO Military Planning Game for use interactively in the Naval Postgraduate School Command, Control, and Communications (C3) Laboratory. The primary purpose of the game is to provide simulated experience in the allocation of budgetary resources for the development, procurement, and maintenance of military systems with realistic constraints of limited time and budget, and a degree of uncertainty. Although the game is resident on the PDP 11/70 computer in the C3 Laboratory, it could easily be transported to any other similar computer which had the same operating system. (Author)
