Rapid Geodetic Survey System (RGSS) White Sands Tests for Position, Height and the Anomalous Gravity Vector Components,

Abstract

The following paper presents test results with the Rapid Geodetic Survey System (RGSS) used at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM in 1980. Numerous traverses were surveyed with the inertial system carried in a truck and in a helicopter. The performance of the system in interpolating position, height, and the anomalous gravity vector components is statistically characterized. (Author)
