Measurement of Out-of-Plane Displacements (User's Manual for the Moire Fringe Deflection Measurement Device).

Abstract

Instructions for use of the UDRI moire fringe device are provided in this report. Detailed instructions for analysis of the moire fringe patterns produced by the device are also presented. A listing of statements in a computer program named PANDIS is given. This program, written in the BASIC language is used to reduce data obtained during analysis of the fringe patterns to out-of-place displacement data. A test problem, including sample data and output, is also presented. (Author)
