Abstract

This report contains the specific recommendations of the military, DOD, and industry participants that attended the 2-5 April 1979 Joint Logistics Commanders (JLC) Embedded Computer Software Workshop held at the Naval Post-graduate School, Montery, CA. The recommendations are to Develop: (1) Software Acquisition Policy; (2) Software Acquisition; (3) Software Documentation Standards; (4) Software Quality Assurance Standards; and (5) Software Acceptance Standards. All products and standards developed as a result of this effort will be recommended for implementations throughout DOD. (Author)
