Safety and Health Evaluation-Communication/Electronic Equipment

Abstract

This TOP provides general guidance for evaluating potential hazards during developmental testing (DT) of Communications-Electronics (C-E) Equipment/ systems. Safety checklists, physical tests, observations, and examinations are presented for use during conduct of the test by all involved test personnel. Safety tests must be designed to comply with test item specifications. Electrical, mechanical, electromagnetic radiation, and other hazards during the safety test must be identified and contained.
