Advanced Technology Lightweight Gondola System Experimental Fabrication Program.
Abstract
The objectives of the work were to design concept verification hardware for the helicopter external gondola systems (HEGS) -10 and -20 modules, and to fabricate and test full-scale HEGS-10 and -20 assemblies. Due to funding limitations, however, the fabrication and test of verification hardware and full-scale assemblies was limited to the HEGS-20 module. (Author)
