Abstract

The method used to evaluate quantifiable impacts of the M-X program consisted of the following steps: (1) Identifying fuel and electrical power needs of the M-X system and support community; (2) Obtaining present and projected figures for power and fuel consumption and availability on local, state, regional, and national levels, where applicable; (3) Mapping of existing and proposed power and fuel lines in regions; and (4) Comparing demand and supply to determine potential impacts.
