Navy Recruit Optimization, Post-1980: Separation Process.

Abstract

This report discusses the separation process by which certain Navy recruits are discharged. The objectives of the study were to: examine procedures related to the assignment of separation codes for Navy recruits; determine suitability of coded reasons available for assignment by Aptitude Boards; and identify the factors which contribute to variability in assignment of codes.
