Interaction Potentials Between Rare Gas Atoms and Halogen Atoms.

Abstract

Interaction potentials are investigated for F + Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Cl + Xe and Br + Ar, Kr, Xe from the measurements of elastic differential cross sections in crossed molecular beams experiments. The general trend of the transition from van der Waals interactions to chemical interactions is carefully examined. (Author)
