The Computer Assisted Air Tasking Order Preparation System, an Enhancement to the Computer Assisted Force Management System (CAFMS) and Constant Watch Programs.

Abstract

Proposes a computer program functional description by which Air Tasking Orders (Fragmentary Orders) may be generated in a fraction of the currently required time. Includes computer generated products currently under development at the 314th Air Division, Osan, Korea. Proposes the method and organization by which this new capability would be best implemented by the Tactical Air Control Center to achieve maximum advantage in execution of the air battle and air campaign planning.
