Four Quadrant Open Water Characteristics of Controllable Pitch Propeller 4837 Designed for MCM (Model 5401).

Abstract

An experimental program was conducted at the David W. Taylor Naval Ship Research and Development Center (DTNSRDC) to predict the open water thrust and torque of the MCM design propeller over the four quadrants of operation. The analysis revealed no unusual results with regard to performance. (Author)
