Time-Extended Petri Nets.

Abstract

This thesis develops a new computer performance evaluation structure called the time-extended Petri net which retains logical synchronization and concurrency characteristics of systems. Cost effectiveness is one of the important considerations together with an evaluation of how it works. The overall objective is to obtain a model to determine the automatic data processing dollar's efficiency. (Author)
