The Second Representing Function for Compound Situations.

Abstract

This paper provides a convenient method of computing the low-order moments of compound situation order statistics based on higher order representing function. The explicit derivation of the second representing function is given. The one-wild-Gaussian situation is used to illustrate the method. Tables of one-wild-Gaussian order-statistic moments are displayed for selected sample sizes.
