Gemination and Twinning in Permanent Dentition.

Abstract

Gemination and twinning are uncommon developmental anomalies of the hard dental tissue. These aberrations are manifested either as an anomalous tooth or a supernumerary tooth. Six cases of gemination and twinning are presented in this paper. A simplified classification of these anomalies has been suggested. (Author)
