Experiences of the Hydrologic Engineering Center in Maintaining Widely Used Hydrologic and Water Resource Computer Models.

Abstract

The experiences of the Hydrologic Engineering Center in maintaining a library of computer models for use by a large number of offices are presented. The type of support provided by HEC is described in terms of research, documentation training, user support and program distribution. Ways to encourage usage of models are covered along with the cost and manpower of providing the computer program support. (Author)
